T-Metrics and General Dynamics successfully completed AETC Operator Consolidation. Col Curt Locke – U.S. Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command (AETC) A6 Deputy Director of Communications recently presided over a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the U.S. Air Force’s AETC Consolidated Telephone Operator Services (CTO) at Port of San Antonio, Texas. Also in attendance were Lt Col Cindy Stephens - Commander AETC Computer Systems Squadron, Lt Col Gary Haines - AETC A6XP Plans and Policy Division and Mr. Peter Graham, Civ USAF AETC AETC/A6XP – AETC Project Manager.
General Dynamics along with T-Metrics, Inc., Real Time Monitors, Inc and AETC successfully integrated the attendant services of 12 AETC bases with multi-switch platforms into the CTO in San Antonio, TX. The CTO is manned 24/7 by 37 telephone operators.

At the recent Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the US Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command Consolidated Telephone Operator Services (AETC CTO) at Port of San Antonio, TX, GDIT’s Christopher Watts, Integrated Systems Project Manager with the Air Force IT Solutions group based, was presented the Commander’s Coin by Colonel Curt Locke - AETC A6 Deputy Director of Communications in recognition for his excellent support to AETC.
For the past year, Chris has been managing the integration of attendant services of 12 AETC bases having multi-switch platforms into the CTO in San Antonio, TX. The CTO is manned 24/7 by 37 telephone operators. General Dynamics along with T-Metrics, Inc., Real Time Monitors, Inc and AETC successfully consolidated the operator functions from Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB, Wilford Hall Medical Center, Goodfellow AFB, Laughlin AFB, Sheppard AFB (all in Texas), Keesler AFB, LA, Tyndall AFB, FL, Maxwell AFB, GA, Vance AFB and Altus AFB, OK, Columbus AFB, MS and Luke AFB, AZ into the Consolidated Telephone Operator center in Port of San Antonio, TX. AETC expects to realize substantial savings through this consolidation of manpower resources and support services at the Port of San Antonio.
